John Wallace Compton III and Marsha S. Compton of Goldsboro, North Carolina, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Anna Frances Compton to Steven Keith Hodges, son of Tammy H. Hodges of Washington, North Carolina, and the late Harold Keith Hodges.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Carolyn L. Compton, the late Dr. John Wallace Compton, and the late Dr. John Thel and Elizabeth P. Smith.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Howard and Janice H. Hodges, and the late James H. Hodges Jr. and Margie E. Hodges.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the Madison Avenue Baptist Church, Goldsboro, North Carolina.
