Treva Inzerillo (right) presents a donation check to Debbie Ryals (left), President of Ruth’s House. Treva and a group of ladies from Grace Lutheran Church held an AVON party to raise money to support Ruth’s House. Ruth’s House, a domestic violence shelter that will be serving residents of Beaufort County, is a faith-based community effort to provide safe shelter for those who are fleeing violence in their home. If you would like to volunteer, please e-mail Ryals at dgryals@suddenlink.net. Donations are needed to help purchase the house for the shelter and can be mailed to Ruth’s House, PO Box 2843, Washington, NC 27889. If you have a photo that you would like to share in the Daily News, please email it along with a description to yourtake@wdnweb.com. (Submitted Photo/Debbie Ryals)
