The Beaufort County Republican Club recognized the husband and wife team of Roger and Mary Sharron who have volunteered over 1,000 hours at Vidant Beaufort Hospital. On hand for the occasion were Jan Hamblin, head of volunteer services at the hospital, and Larry Britt. The couple received gift certificates from Office Depot, Walmart and Woogies Restaurant.
