Ashley Woolard, 10, competed in the North Carolina State 4-H Horse Show at the Hunt Horse Complex in Raleigh. Woolard and her horse, Lady Patches, won the 2012 N.C. State 4-H Short Stirrup Division Championship. They competed in Working Hunter Over Fences, Hunt Seat Equitation Hunter Over Fences, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunt Seat Equitation on the Flat and Showmanship. Woolard, a member of Up the Creek 4-H Club in Beaufort County, is the daughter of Mike and Janet Woolard.
