I am calling in regards to the comments about roadside hunting. I am a bow hunter and what bothers me so much about the degree of difficulty that someone spoke about of roadside hunting. The only degree of difficulty it takes to roadside hunt is to lift the beer that you are drinking to your lips and roll the window down long enough to shoot the animal as it is being chased by the dogs. As far as I’m concerned, no skill goes into having animals chase a scared deer to be shot as you’re sitting at your truck on the side of the road.
What is it with people that park where it clearly says, “No parking,” “Fire Zone,” Loading Zone?” Or even worse, they park right behind you. I was at the bank and these people just got right behind me in this gray, silver car and I couldn’t get out. What are you doing? Even worse now, a white truck is blocking me from going to Piggly Wiggly.
The John Cotten Tayloe PTA fundraiser states that a child must sell 10 items to go to the John Cotten Tayloe Fun Day. All families do not have the time or resources to sell 10 items. Imagine how many kids will not sell 10 items and cannot go to the Fun Day Carnival. How would you feel?
Thank you very, very much for putting in the wonderful article on Tuesday, the 18th, for Diana West. It is an excellent article and we thank you very much.
