Water department rescinds advisory

The Beaufort County Water Department has rescinded it’s advisory for water consumers in Northside District 1 to boil water used for consumption.

According to a press release from Erick Jennings, water systems manager, Samples collected from multiple locations within the system were analyzed by a state certified laboratory and found to be free of coliform bacteria.

Potable water served by the Beaufort County Northside Water System (NC PWS ID # 04-07-035) in District I has been restored to full capacity.
