• Beaufort County Schools will be closed for the day Monday, Oct. 29.

• Craven Community College will be operating on a two-hour delay on Monday, Oct. 29. The college will open at 10 a.m.

• Beaufort County Schools are closed Monday, Oct. 29.

• National Park Service sites, including visitors centers and beaches, in eastern North Carolina are closed.

• Crafts show and open house at new arts facility in Hyde County will go on today.

• The Arc of Beaufort County family fun day in Chocowinity has been postponed until Nov. 10.
