Charlie Carlton “Whitie” Mizell, 80, of 134 N. Railroad Street, Askewville, died Sunday, November 18, 2012, at his home. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Askewville Baptist Church by the Rev. Billy Presley. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. The family received friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Monday, November 19, at Walker Funeral Home and at other times receiving from the home. Walker Funeral Home, Windsor is serving the Mizell family.
