Harris of Washington, North Carolina and Mrs. Darlene Rhem of  Williamston, North Carolina. William is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Thompson, Jr. of Hallsboro, North Carolina and Ms. Claudia J. Thompson of Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The couple reside in Wilmington, North Carolina.
