Collision reported in the parking lot of Burger King #13209, 1629 Highway 17 South, at 4:36 p.m. Driver said the other vehicle was “halfway” parked in a space when he ran into its back tire. Second driver said she was in the process of parking. No injuries reported.

Nov. 10

Arrest made at Family Dollar Store, U.S. Highway 17, at 8 p.m. Suspect charged with shoplifting. She hid $23.22 of merchandise, including soap, candles and tampons, in a purse placed in her stroller, then left the store. She and nieces were banned from the store.
