- Vidant Pungo Hospital’s annual Toys for Tots drive was especially successful this year. Lucretia Green, administrative assistant, spearheaded the effort by issuing a challenge to all departments to pool their resources to purchase 10 bicycles and helmets. As the bikes began rolling in and the tally got to 15, Lena Boyd, pharmacy manager, upped the ante to 20 bikes and helmets. All employees dug a little deeper and on Dec. 10, 20 bikes, helmets and lots of toys were delivered to a Washington Toys for Tots drop-off site. (Contributed Photo)
