CMS recognizes courageous students

As a part of Beaufort County Schools Character Education program, Chocowinity Middle School nominated students during the month of November for the character trait of courage.  Students were treated to an ice cream party and given prize bags while each student’s nomination was read by Principal Dale Cole. Winners for the month of November were Joseph Gaskins, Stone Prechtl, Kyale Gaskins, Marshall Medlock, Jada Corprew, Jykevia Pritchard, Chase Hall, Micah Guion, Isaiah Moore, and Karl Ayers.  One winner for middle school and elementary school was chosen. Stone Prechtl won from the middle school, and Karl Ayers won from the elementary school.
