- Submitted Photo| Colonial Book Club The Colonial Book Club of Bath gathered to celebrate the Christmas season this year as they have for many years. However, there was a small difference: this year the club members made a decision not to exchange gifts among themselves. It was decided to bring the spirit of Christmas beyond the club members and into the greater community. The Colonial Book Club presented a check to The Martha's Project in Belhaven. The Martha's Project is a nonprofit organization providing food and low cost items to eastern Beaufort County areas. It gave the club members great pride to share in our community and make a difference in the lives of others.
