Mr. and Mrs. Steven W. Mizelle of Washington, NC, proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Gurkin to Walter Owen Majors, both of Wilmington, NC.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of James Franklin Majors of Saluda, SC, and Vilai Pitcock of Augusta, GA. Amanda is also the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zack Gurkin Jr. of Washington, NC.
The couple will exchange vows in a private ceremony on March 8, 2013, at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, Kure Beach, NC.
