The fourth grade students of Bath Elementary School participated in a Christmas Community Service Project. They collected many large and small bags of dog food, cans of dog food, cans of cat food and many pet treats and toys. Jim Thompson and Benny (one of his rescued dogs) came to accept these generous gifts. This is the fifth year that the students of Carol Jones, Carla Dickerson and Dawn Mason have participated in this worthy service project. The students realized the importance of this project as they listened to Mr. Thompson share stories of some of his rescued animals. Benny, dressed as a reindeer, was one happy and excited dog.
