All of the charges Diana West made in her column this week are well-documented. It’s sad when the people are so narrow-minded that they want to go after the messenger because they did not like the message. It is well known that Hillary Clinton will lie in a moment just to cover (herself).

Is there any laws about rentals to protect the renter? I mean, pertaining to landlords and how they keep their rental property up to code? To me, Beaufort County’s codes has always been like the wild west. I mean, there’s just no law.

I take issue with Leesa Jones, who in her Thursday article ranks Joan Little as a prominent figure whose contribution has made a tremendous historical impact on Washington and North Carolina. Anyone connected with the others she listed should be highly insulted and the Daily News should be embarrassed.
