A funeral for Sadie Moore Carter, 98, of 2118 Tripp Road, Blounts Creek, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the New Bern Eastern Missionary Baptist Association headquarters building, Grantsboro. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, March 1, at Whitfield & Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
