SWS Career Day 2013

Published 9:37am Tuesday, March 5, 2013

S.W. Snowden held a career day for the middle school students. Small groups of students had the opportunity to listen to and speak with five different professionals from around the area, which included a certified registered nurse anesthetist, a writer/photographer from the Washington Daily News, a welder/teacher from Southside High School, a patrolman from Washington Police Department and an investigator from the Beaufort County Sherriff’s Office.
The students of SWS were engaged and asked many quality and thought provoking questions. This day paired nicely with the work Snowden’s CTE teacher is doing with college and career exploration.
Many thanks to the community members for taking the time to come and speak with SWS students.
